Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classic music, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic music and older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along together with her mom. The formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She furthered her training in music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. Following her move into America, United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to Southern California. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. The love she has for performing, music, and the arts keep her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a teacher. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
